Important Note:

Writing in RED indicates directions and information. In the ritual text RED where you select the correct word/s depending on the ritual. For example, you are doing a ritual to Isis and you ware using a circle. The ritual text has:

By the path of (god/dess),

This sacred (space, circle) I create O Ancient Gods and Goddesses of Egypt.

I call upon you all to participate.

Your response would be

By the path of Isis.

This sacred circle I create O Ancient Gods and Goddesses of Egypt.

I call upon you all to participate.

(place a candle in each direction optional)

Stand in the center of your circle/shrine, light any incense, breathe deeply, take in the energy around you. When you are ready say:

By the path of (god/dess),

This sacred (space, circle) I create O Ancient Gods and Goddesses of Egypt.

I call upon you all to participate.

Face each direction in turn, light the direction candle, draw an ankh (see ankh notes about how to draw in the air with your wand and say:

(God/dess), power of the (4 sons of Horus or directions),

Lord/Lady of (element of direction),

Join (me, us) now, and witness this ritual

And guard this (circle, temple).

Repeat in each direction:

Return to the center, breathe deeply again, draw in the energy and with head upward and arms in U position, say:

O Great (Lady, Lord), (name of god/dess),

I ask thee now to bring your light and Sekhem.

Join (me, us) to witness this ritual in your honor.

Face altar and assume Osiris position

The (circle/directions) is cast,

I am between the worlds,

Beyond the boundary of time, where night and day,

Life and death meet as one.

Light your altar candle and incense and say:

The fire is lit, the fire shines, the ritual has begun.

Follow by the purpose of the ritual (spells, devotion to god/dess)

When you are ready to close, return to the center of the sacred space and say:

Great Lord/Lady (name of God/dess),

I thank you for your presence,

For your (attributes),

I ask for you blessing as you depart.

Again, turn to each direction and say:

Powers of the (direction)

Lord/Lady (name) of (name)

I thank you for attending this ritual.

I ask for your blessing as you depart,

May there be peace between us, now and forever.

Return to the center, raise the ankh to the sky, and plunge it downward to touch the Earth and say:

Mother Nut, Father Geb,

As Above, So Below,

The (circle/space) is open but unbroken,

May the peace of (name of God/dess) go within.

Ground your energy
