Doesn't seem like much, but cut the gunnel's (beade) for the sides, then shaped the ends so their flared and didn't end in round.
To get the gunnels cut, we took the 20 feet strips of wood Scott had cut, cut them again to make them even thinner (1/2 inch), then ran them through a router 2x so the strips would be half-round with a flat back.
I was told to use the plane to shape the ends, but could not get the plane to work. Then, figured out I could use a rough file - worked. I sanded quite a bit too to properly shape. Then, cut the end off to make it fit.
Made come contacts and will view other shells to determine hole location for the riggers.
