It seems like we made some real progress today. Don H and I laid layers of fiberglass on the inside of the boat. Purists may not like it, but this boat is so fragile. It seems like everytime I touch it, a new crack appears. In fact, we found a pretty long on in the aft section while adding the glass. We put some extra fiberglass in that section. We also put some glass down where the Pococks had strips, which were like 'ribs.' I am not sure what their function was. I would guess, about half of them peeled off.
I also filled some major 'holes' in the boat. Others at the shop said to cut them out, I decided the best thing to do would be to fill them, then paint them. Any cutting of the boat makes me squirm.
I took some more measurements for Steve.
