God's Gift To You

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

The Bible teaches “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Sin is a wrong thought, attitude, or action. Sin is the act of doing wrong as well as the willful desire to do wrong. Sin separates you from God. But, God does not want you to remain separated from Him.

Therefore Jesus Christ, who is fully and completely God, came to this earth and lived as a man (John 1:1,14). He had a physical body just like you, but He was born without sin and He never sinned (1 Peter 2:22). When Jesus was crucified on the cross, He cried out “It is finished” because God the Father accepted Jesus’ payment for all of your sin – past, present, and future (Hebrews 9:12). But the story doesn’t end there… Three days later Jesus rose bodily from the dead to prove that His Word is true and that He is the Giver of eternal life (John 11:25-26).

Do you want to put your trust in Jesus and receive God’s gift of salvation? Then, simply tell God in prayer that you are a sinner in need of a Savior. Let God know that you are taking Him at His Word. That you believe in who Jesus is and what He did for you. Thank God that Jesus died in your place to forgive your sins and rose from the dead to give you eternal life (Romans 10:8-10). And, receive His gift of salvation by faith. Yes, it is that easy! Why not pray now.

Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name,

he gave the right to become children of God. John 1:12
