Basic Hems

There are two basic hems that will get you through most of any sewing project you take on.

I highly recommend using double sided seam stick tape available in rolls from Sailrite.

You should have:

A good, sharp pair of scissors that is only used to cut fabric.

A pair of pinking shears is very handy.

A plastic pressing tool.

A hot knife for cutting nylon.
