Wednesday On Main events continue, shifting into twangy and fabulous bluegrass-y high gear with Bangor’s own Max Silverstein and his band, Maximum Blue. Max has been playing fiddle since 2003, forming the band in 2005 - and p.s., Max is 18 and has just graduated from high school. Maximum Blue has been a part of many events in Maine and beyond, such as the American Folk Festival in Bangor, the Bangor Waterfront Concert Series, Blistered Fingers Bluegrass Festival, Common Ground Fair and so many more. Prepare to stomp your feet and clap your hands to welcome this talented young man and his band – including Dad Jeff Silverstein and bassist Nancy Merrill!
