2023
OH MY GOODNESS. What a summer we have enjoyed! The puppets were hysterical, Gerry Boyle is SO good, read his books, y'all, and - over 300 people joined us for the Paul Sullivan/Richard Blanco event. Minds blown, love flourished. Barcelona killed it for TWO NIGHTS (sold out, thank you!) and Kevin Morse was just fabulous sharing classical guitar.
WE LOVE YOU ALL, THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING WEDNESDAY ON MAIN - 2024 IS NEXT!

**Additional Information:
Paul Sullivan has enjoyed a richly varied and distinguished career as a composer and a pianist. As a soloist, with his trio, and as a member of the Paul Winter Consort, he has played concert tours in most of the United States and Europe, as well as the Middle East, Central America, and Asia. From New York Jazz clubs to Leonard Bernstein’s living room and around the world, this Grammy Award Winning artist has enjoyed “A long, lovely, lucky career, which shows no signs of stopping”. Hancock County and the State of Maine are fortunate to have this generous and multi-talented artist among us.
Richard Blanco is one of the most beloved and influential poets and storytellers writing today. Mr. Blanco was just awarded the National Humanities Medal by President Biden and we vividly recall watching him deliver his poem “One Today” as Presidential Inaugural Poet for President Barack Obama’s inauguration in 2013. As a historical poet, public speaker, teacher, and memoirist, he continues to travel the world, inviting audiences to reconnect to the heart of the human experience and all of its beautiful diversity.
Sullivan and Blanco join forces to play music and speak words of joy, love and concern for our humanity, planet and community. Join us to experience an extraordinary moment with these two friends and world citizens.
