Troop and Crew 888 were established in 2015 to offer scouting experience to youth with special needs through the Organization of Special needs Family (OSF: www.osfamilies.org).
Why volunteer?
If you are looking for a fun and rewarding volunteer experience, you’ve come to the right place! OSF provides the opportunity for anyone to interact directly with our special needs students, helping them through our programs. You’ve never known how it feels to directly impact another person’s life until you help those in need. The strength of our community is based on how well our special needs and disabled members live their lives. Come benefit yourself and your community at OSF!
Qualification: High school student and age 15 and older with a loving heart
(for scouts < 15 years old, you are welcome to volunteer, however, you can not get service hours for school, but can use the hours for scout advancement requirement).
More information on volunteering for T888 can be found on T888 web site.
Note: Due to COVID-19, Troop 888 volunteering will be cancelled until further notice.
