When a scout completes the requirements for a rank, he can request for a scoutmaster conference (SMC). After completion of SMC, he can request for a board of review (BOR). A scout needs to complete both SMC and BOR before he can advance to the next rank.
Below are what a scout needs to bring for a SMC or BOR:
- wear full uniform A (sash is also required for current 1st class rank or above).
- scout book (with all requirements completed)
** for Star going to Life, scout also need to prepare a scout folder containing MBs, awards and supporting credentials.
*** For Eagle SMC, check and schedule with SM at least 3 weeks before intended SMC date.
