Using any of the types of crime data we studied (direct crime observattion, UCR, NCVS, Prison surveys, etc), create a metaphor to show understanding of the various crime measurements.
Criminologists use a number of different tools to collect, measure and interpret crime statistics. Just like we use different pieces of silverware to accomplish the same basic task (eating) but each is suited for a specific purpose so are the various sources of crime data.
