MATHUR ASSOCIATION BOMBAY

This note is addressed to all our External Life Members and to those local Life Members who did not receive our last Newsletter dated 1.12.2000. A copy of our said Newsletter along with a copy of the "corrigendum / addendum" referred to therein is enclosed herewith. As you will please see, we had our Diwali get-together function on the 16th December 2000 evening at Powai.

In view of the recent postal strike from the 5th December onwards (ending on 23.12.2000), we sent our above Newsletter by courier service to all our Mumbai members. Most of them were duly delivered while some have come back to us with remarks like "shifted", "house locked", "Address Insufficient" etc..

Though the event is over, we consider it our duty to keep our life members informed about our activities and the goings-on in the Biradari circles here. It is from this point of view that we take pleasure in now sending herewith by post, the "received back" copies of the Newsletter to the respective life members. We sincerely hope they will appreciate and welcome receiving this Newsletter, even belatedly, under the circumstances stated above.

Similarly, it is only now that we send herewith copies of our Newsletter by post (the hangover of the strike should, hopefully, be over in the post offices by now) to all our External Life members. It is always our effort and intention to keep touch with our External Life Members, provided we have their forwarding addresses and are informed promptly of any change in their address.
