BirdsCaribbean is seeking nominations for Keynote and Plenary speakers for the 2019 Guadeloupe Conference.
We are looking for influential, visionary academics and/or conservation leaders, who will share innovative work and inspiring ideas. The presentation should provide new insights and stimulate discussion that helps advance our shared goal of conserving the birds of the Caribbean and their habitats.

- Be experts in their field

- Understand the purpose of our conference and be able to convey information and a message that will resonate with our delegates

- Have good public speaking skills (e.g., charismatic, passionate, etc.)

- We are especially looking for speakers that will address the conference theme in some way

Any number of topics may be addressed but they should be relate to the region’s ecology and biodiversity, particularly birds. Presentations should address a conservation challenge(s) and propose or describe technological advances, new research, or exciting community engagement or outreach programs that provide solutions to these challenges.
