For my first time working with a student on an individual basis, I found it to be a challenge. However, I took on the challenge and viewed it as a learning experience that I will be using throughout my career as a teacher. From this project, I learned that students constantly need to be assessed to ensure that they are learning at an appropriate level of instruction, and that you are using methods and strategies that are most effective for them.
