Welcome to our family in Christ at Bergen Lutheran Church! The Bergen community has had a unique relationship with the people of Roland since 1874. We are a member of the Northeastern Iowa Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
The building where we currently worship was built in 1929. Our worship space is of considerable size and beauty. Because of the distinctive and lofty architecture, we have chosen to provide Roland with good and authentic liturgical worship. Yet within this worship, we have a varied ministry of music with a magnificent pipe organ that spans the musical spectrum.
During the school year, Sunday School starts at 9am and is available for ages 3 to adult. A fellowship time follows the worship service on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.
We invite you to join us for Sunday worship service. We celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month (and often times the 4th Sunday of the month).Â
