Presentations- You will create a TED talk explaining your Genius Hour Project. I have included a link to example TED talks that you should use to help prepare for your presentation. See the link at the bottom for assistance in editing your video.
Presentations should include at least the following:
1. Why did you choose to do this activity?
2. What did you choose to do with your freedom of choice?
3. What do you find interesting or challenging about this activity? Why are you passionate about this?
4. What challenges/obstacles did you face along the way?
5a. How did you deal with those obstacles?
5b. What plan of action did you take to overcome setbacks?
6. What successes did you find along the way?
7. Were you able to achieve your goal? Why or why not?
8. Demonstration of what you created, learned, new ability.
It should be a story of your adventure, a reflection on your learning journey. This is something you chose to do so celebrate the learning that took place, even if you didn't achieve your goal. Discuss reactions from friends, or others, or help you received to progress in your project.
The presentation should be between 3 and 5 minutes- hopefully more towards 5 minutes because you have so much to tell us about your project.
You will create a video documenting your project that will be submitted on a google form below prior to January 15. Your google site should also have been submitted previously.
