Obeisance unto you, O Sacred Hymns! May the Omniscient Lord give unto him perfection and Immortal Progress twain, with the Law divine, by means of the radiant Spirit and the Best Mind and deed and word and kingdom and Perfect Devotion.

One who is led by Thy Holy Spirit and Thy love, his thought, word and deed are good and in tune with truth. He shall be granted perfection and eternity by Mazda Ahura through His strength and love.
BOD
Through His Holy Spirit, Spenta Mainyû and Vahishta Mana, His Sovereign Mind, Mazda Ahura will grant Perfection and Immortality to him whose words and deeds are in harmony with the Divine Law, with the Lord's Might and Majesty and with His Loving Devotion.
BOY
Through the Holy Spirit and Best Purpose, by act and word in accord with Truth, They shall grant him Wholeness and Immortality - Lord Mazda, together with Power and Devotion.

For His Holy Spirit and for best thought, deed and word in accordance with Right Mazdah Ahura with Dominion and Piety shall give us Welfare and Immortality.

One who led by Th Holy Spirit lives the best life, his worlds shall be full of love and wisdom and his hands shall fulfil the task of aramaiti through faith. His life shall be guided by one single thought that only Mazda is the source of truth.

The best work of this most Holy Spirit he fulfils with the tongue through the words of Good Thought, with the work of his hands through the action of Piety, by virtue of this knowledge, he even Mazdah, is the Father of Right.

Through this Most Holy Spirit, the best life will be cultivated by him who speaks with the words from the mouth and tongue of the Good Mind and whose actions are performed by the hands of aramaiti. Mazda himself is the Father of Ash because of this,His Perceptive Wisdom.

With the tongue by the voices of the conscience, with the arms, by the deeds of Activism, let a man do the highest deeds of Sattwa Guna. This is the instruction. He, Mazda, is the upholder of Rectitude.

Through the good selfless minded tongue and spoken prayers which create good Staota, Staota which can meet the Yazats and create innumerable good effects. Because of that and the ceremonies performed by both hands of good mentality possessing aramaiti, practices, the best improver of mankind and the Best Mainyû, and the best nature can be brought to dwell in oneself and make use of it. Because of the one exceptional great mental power, Mazda Himself is the respected father of Ashoi.

A person shall bring to realisation the best for His most virtuous spirit with his tongue, through words stemming from good thinking, and with his hands, through (every) act of piety, according to the single understanding: the Wise One is the Father of truth.

Thou art indeed, O my Lord, the Holy Father of Wisdom. Thou hast created this joy bringing Mother Earth. When people go towards Vohuman and consult him, Thou shall grant them peace, O Mazda and aramaiti shall be their protector.

Thou art the holy Father of this Spirit, which has created for us the luck bringing cattle and for its pasture to give it peace has created Piety, when he had taken counsel, O Mazdah, with Good Thought.

Through this Holy Spirit Thou art indeed he who, for man's sake, moulded this joyous Creation and when O Mazda, man took counsel with the Good Mind then did Thou grant her for her pasturage the joy giver aramaiti.

This Mainyû leads all to progress. He has made for us the rotating universe and the seven skies which revolve as per your instructions. Also to enable the revolving skies and nature to perform the divine work as per your instructions, you have determined that happiness giving aramaiti should assist. Because of that Mazda attuned with Vohuman has created aramaiti to do the work. She has been created to answer questions.

Thou art the virtuous Father of this spirit, the spirit who fashioned the joy-bringing cow for this world. Moreover, Thou didst create tranquillity and piety for her pastor he took counsel with good thinking, Wise One.

You are the promoter of this mentality which fashioned the joy-bringing world for him and have granted peace and serenity for his settlement because, Wise One, he had consulted good mind.

Of this blest Spirit art Thou thus the bounteous, who him the herd joy making one has given. With joyful fields for her grant him Devotion, since he has counselled with Thy Good Mind, Mazda.

Thou art the greatest spirit, the one who created the Kine, the producer of gifts for as belonging to Thee. Therefore Thou did make provision for her sustenance and her gratification and with a perfect mind. Thou who as that spirit, O Great Wise One, art alike engaged in conference with the Highest Mind.

That which belongs to the bountiful spirit is in Thee, by whom the Cow Az, the producer of liberality was created for Thine own adherents. Also both pasture and joy were thus given by Thee to that one as a perfect mindedness, since Thou also, O Auharmazd, did bestow thee in continued conference with Vohuman.

Indeed, Thou art the furtherer of this Spirit, who for such a one framed the rotating Earth and for her regulation Thou, the joyous one did produce aramaiti, since Mazda did confer with her through Vohu Manangh.

Of this Spirit Thou, O Mazda, art Its Bounties, who, for man's welfare fashioned joy diffusing earth. Indeed, for man's sustenance and well being, Thou did bestow joy and Divine Love, according as he communed with the Noble Divine Intelligence, O Mazda.

You are indeed the father of Holy Mentality, O Mazda. When man has taken counsel of good mind You have created joy giving earth and for protection You have sent him Divine Wisdom with peace.

# Ahmat manyeush raréshyentî dregvantô,
Mazda spéntat noit îtha ashunô,
Kaséûshchît na ashûné kathé anghat,
Isvachît håns paraosh akô dregvîté.

With this radiant of Spirit are the wicked wounded, O Mazda, not so the preservers of Law. Let man be in the desire even of the least for the preserver of Law. Being even capable full vanquisher of the wicked.
AZA
The wicked persons, O Mazda, who turn away from Thy Holy Spirit, they feel themselves over thwarted, but no truthful man shall ever act like that. The truthful person, though of small possessions and poor should be loved and respected, but followers of untruth though of great possessions and power should be despised and regarded as wicked.
BAR
From this Spirit have Liars fallen away, O Mazdah, but not the Righteous. Whether one is lord of little or much, he is to show love to the righteous, but the ill unto the Liar.
BOD
Through this Holy Spirit the Followers of the Druj are perpetually wounded, O Mazda, but not so the Followers of Ash. The just man shall love the Follower of Ash even though of scanty means. But he shall destroy the Follower of Druj even if he be a man of wealth and power.
BOY

O Mazda, from this Guna, which is the Spenta, the vicious will run away, but never thus the virtuous. Even a man of small means will engage in this promotion of the righteous, while the villain, even being lord of much, is for the support of the vicious.
CHI
Because of the power of the Mazda's Kehrp of seven Zarvane Akarne, the progressive powers make the evil doer unhappy as they do not believe in Righteousness. The holy person who has very little property is considered as respectable in eyes of the righteous people. The good person who has power and prosperity is considered by the evil persons as undesirable.
INS
Wise One, the deceitful are not able to deflect those who are properly truthful from this virtuous spirit. "Be a man indeed of little worth (or) indeed the master of much, he shall be loving to the truthful person and bad to the deceitful one.
JAF
Wise One, it is the wrongful, not the righteous, who continue to keep away from this progressive mentality. A person of very small means as well as a person of great strength can be kind to the righteous and bad to the wrongful.
KAN
O Hormazd, through Spena Mino, the evil persons suffer but the righteous do not. To keep a holy person happy, a man is kept wanting very little. To keep an evil person happy, an evil person in spite of being powerful is kept wanting a lot.
KHA
O Mazda, the ignorant Babblers feel greatly frustrated by this Spenta Mainyû, not so these Righteous Ones. Only a man of insignificance would be yearning after the Righteous, but on the contrary the Lord of Affluence being sinful for the Ignorant Babbler.
MIL
By that blest spirit curst false foes are wounded by Mazda's bounteous one, nor thus the saints, through feeble men alone here serve the faithful and foes in might help sinners on.

The wicked, O great One,are curtailing the reward of the other world from the greater one, not so the holy. In his occupation the holy man is thus engaged and through the ... of his actions; and he is very desirous to chastise sin as being more thoroughly a smiter of the wicked.
PAH
From that bountifulness of the spirits moved, they are wounding those who are wicked, they will reject him who is the bountiful man of Auharmazd; not so the holt. In a little matter even a man is a supplicant for the holy and when he is a supplicant he is much as a smiter of the wicked.
PUN
By this bountifulness of the spirit of Mazda, the wicked are constantly wounded, not so the pious. A man of even small means for the pious shall be in esteem; but even a powerful being of many means for the wicked shall be wicked.

O Mazda, it is due to this Bountiful Spirit, the wicked are continuously obstructed, but not so righteous; a man of slender means does verily yearn for the company of the righteous; but the possessor of plenty, being evil, will lean towards the wicked.
SET
Through this Holy Mentality, the followers of evil feel themselves ever frustrated, O Mazda, but not so the righteous. Even a man of small means will engage in promotion of the virtuous while a villain even being lord of much is for the vicious.

Hurt arises from this Spirit, this wicked, not so from the Pure Holy Mazda. Even in a small thing man desires for the pure. In a great one, if he is able, the bad for the evil.

On account of this Spirit the followers of Untruth feel themselves ever thwarted, on account of Thy Holy Spirit, O Mazda; not thus indeed are the Righteous; only the man of small possessions is inclined to the righteous, but being lord of great possessions he becomes evil on the side of the Untruthful.

AVESTA PRAYER
# Tacha Spenta mainyu Mazda Ahura,
Ashuné choîsh ya zi chîcha vahishta,
Hanaré thwahmat jaoshat dregvaô bakhshaîtî,
Ahya shyaothanîsh akat a shyans mananghô.

And those things which verily are the best, do thou give taste of to the preserver of Law, by means of the Radiant Spirit, O Omniscient Lord! Without Thy wish does the wicked apportion, by his deeds residing with the harmful of the mind.
AZA
The righteous shall enjoy, O Ahura Mazda, th best gifts promised by Thee, through Thy Holy Spirit. However, the false ones shall remain afar from Thy love, since their evil deeds proceed from their evil minds which darkens with black clouds of wickedness their bright sky of soul.
BAR
And all the best things which by this Holy Spirit Thou has promised to the righteous, O Mazdah Ahura, shall the Liar partake of them without Thy will, who by his actions is on the side of Ill Thought?
BOD
For, through that Holy Spirit, O Mazda Ahura, Thou hast assigned to the Follower of Ash whatever is, in truth, the best for him. The Follower of the Druj, far from Thy Love, receives the just reward of his own actions which are steeped in the Evil Mind.
BOY
And by this Holy Spirit, Lord Mazda, Thou hast promised the Just man what are indeed all the best things. The wicked man shall have (his) share remote from Thy affection, since he abides by acts inspired by Bad Purpose.

Ahura Mazda, in the pious inspire that Sattwa Guna, which is the best of all. Acting from Evil Mind, the impious one will, according to Your dispensation get the desert for his deeds.
CHI
O Ahura Mazda, You through the progressive Mainyû has created for the holy persons, the best, the most deserving and rightful rewards. The evil persons who are away from the bounds of your love, receive their results. A person can through his good or evil thoughts and deeds can stay close or afar from You.
INS
And through this very virtuous spirit , Wise Lord, Thou hast promised for the truthful person what indeed are the very best things. (But) the deceitful man shall have his share apart from Thy approval, since, he lives by his
actions stemming from evil thinking.

Wise God, it is through this progressive mentality, that You have promised the righteous what indeed is the best. But the wrongful shares little from Your love because he lives by the actions of his evil mind.

O Prosperity giving Unseen Hormazd, whatever is the best for the righteous You truly give. But an evil person, because of his evil deed, stays away from Your love and obtains His due, and stays with Akoman.
KHA
And those blessings O Mazda Ahura, Thou has accumulated through Spenta Mainyû for the Righteous, which moreover are the most beneficent. The evil Promoter partakes of his acquirement out of Thy pleasure, but through his own actions he is destroying himself by the evil mind.

But Thou will give these gifts and through Thy bounteous spirit, O Ahura Mazda, to this Thy holy saint, for they are whatsoever the best; but far from Thy love the wicked has his portion, abiding in the actions of the Evil Mind.

And thence, O Great Spirit the Wise One the Lord, he teaches the religious whatever is the most elevated, but the wicked rain down their gifts apart from Thy desire.

From this bountiful spirit also, O Auharmazd, by him whatever there is that is best has been declared to the holy; but the wicked have their portion apart rom Thy love, and he whose deed that deed is has his abode appointed from Akoman.

And through that Bountiful Spirit, O Mazda Ahura, Thou hast prescribed for the holy what gifts soever are indeed best. The wicked shares his deserts out of Thy love but through his deeds he abides by the wickedness of the mind.

And Thou, O Ahura Mazda has determined , Bountiful Spirit, unto the righteous, that which is truly the best of those Bounties; but the wicked will partake of his due desert, removed from Thy Will and Affection, due to his own actions, imbued by the evil bent of mind.

Through the Holy Mentality You have promised to the righteous all those things that are best. The follower of falsehood shall get his reward without Your love, absorbed in his own actions, inspired by the evil mind.

That, Spenta Mainyû, Mazda Ahura, mayest Thou give to the pure, what is best. Without Thy will the wicked takes a share in his works; he who springs from the dwelling of Ako Mano.

And those things through Thy Holy Spirit, O Mazda Ahura, has Thou promised to the Righteous, even all those things that are the best; the follower of Untruth shall partake of his reward removed from Thy Love, absorbed by his own actions inspired by the Evil Mind.

By means of tar, by the Radiant Spirit, O Omniscient Lord, Thou givest unto the disputants in the good judgement by means of the progress of perfect Devotion and of the Law divine that which makes many seekers believers indeed.
AZA
O Lord of Life and Wisdom, Through Thy Holy Spirit and Thy blazing Fire Thou shall determine the fate of the two parties or righteous and wicked; and grant their respective recompense and penalty. By advancement of Thy Fire of faith, truth and purity, O my Lord, the seekers of truth shall come to Thy Path.
BAR
Through this holy Spirit, Mazdah Ahura and through the Fire Thou will give the division of good of the two parties, with support of Piety and Right. This verily will convert many who are ready to hear.
BOD
Through that Holy Spirit, O Mazda Ahura and through Thy Flaming Fire of Thought, Thou metest out impartial justice to the two contenders, the Followers of Ash and those of the Druj. With the growth of Aramaiti and Ash, Thy Primal will indeed be fully accepted by all seekers.
BOY
By this Holy Spirit, Lord Mazda, Thou wilt give distribution in good to the two parties by fire....

Ahura Mazda, to Thy warriors for the cause of the good send, through Sattwa Guna, the Light of Rectitude and Divine Activism. Let him conceive and accomplish much.
CHI
O Mazda Ahura, through the Progressive Spenta Mainyû, for the two combatants, through the Fire who gives the right decisions, through good mind and the strength of righteousness and through the two benefits You give to both the a candidates. This is loved and accepted by both.
INS
Wise Lord, together with this virtuous spirit Thou shalt give the distribution in the good to both factions through Thy fire, by reason of the solidarity of piety and truth. For it shall convert the many who are seeking.

Wise God, You grant good to both these parties through the progressive mentality by means of fire, light ,warmth and energy, because with the growth of serenity and righteousness, it shall convert many a seeker.

O Prosperity giving Unseen Hormazd, to the Two Rivals You give through Your Fire and complete Good Mind and the increasing Righteousness, through Your Just Judgement. And that is truly pleasing to your devotees.

Those blessings O Mazda Ahura, Thou hast given through Spenta Mainyû, who would decide through Fire in the good for the two contesting parties, through the advancement of aramaiti and also of Ash. Certainly she causes to attract towards herself many inquisitors.

Aye, these things will Thou give to him, O Thou Ahura Mazda, and through Thy bounteous spirit, and by Thy Fire as in a good bestowal to the two striving through the prosperous increase of our Piety, and of the Righteous ritual and moral Truth; for that does teach the many coming ones who seek her.

For the two contending parties, the bountiful spirit of Auharmazd bestows his decision. He will give the decision of fire to the contenders. Since His is the powerful perfect minded one and Aharayih also; for when they behold those things she causes many to believe.
PUN
Through that Bountiful Spirit, O Mazda Ahura, Thou gavest energies to the two contenders in Thy good Dispensation, in proportion to the multiplication of devotion and Holiness. Indeed that fully convinces the seekers.

That Bountiful Spirit, O Ahura Mazda, dost bestow Divine Energy to the two contenders, for the furtherance of Divine Love and of Divine Law, good and appropriate determination, which truly will satisfy all, who seek Thee.
SET
O Ahura Mazda, to Your warrior for the good send through Holy Mentality, the light of Righteousness and Divine Wisdom. Let him conceive and accomplish much.

Ultimately, on the day when truth conquers untruth and when devils and their partners are unveiled of deceit and fraud forever then Thy praise and devotion to thee, O Ahura, shall increase resulting in happiness and joy.

When at the Recompensing the Right shall smite the Liar, so that what was long since made known shall be assigned to eternity to Daevas and men, then will it exalt with Thy blessings, Ahura, him who prays to Thee.

Through such Divine Dispensations will the Druj be overcome by Asha and when the deceits perpetrated by Daevas and by men are laid bare for all eternity, then shall love of Thee increase, O Ahura, and bring in its wake all blessings.

Such men through righteousness can conquer Druj. When a man through his selfless actions and righteousness defeats Druj and those things which are made known through Daevas and the deceit of evil men. When he comes out in his true form, then O Hormazd, your creation and benefits will increase.

Since he would conquer Evil though directions from Asha, he has mastered what are announced as double promoters in immortality by the Deva Worshippers and also by the Mashakyas. Then O Ahura, through Thy various powers ardent adoration would increase.

If through his action in the offering of gifts in accordance with the Righteous Order,shall smite the Demon-of-the Lie, when that in very truth shall come which has been proclaimed as deceit, in the Immortal life, regarding men and Daevas, then shall increase thereby the celebration of Thy praise, O Lord and with it blessings.

If in that dispensation Sanctity smites the druj, when that takes place which was declared by them to be in deceitfulness, then this which is Thy benefit increases Thy praise, O Auharmazd.

If by means of overtures one wins over the Druj through Asha, when he teaches her what is declared as deceptions practised in eternity by demons and men, then by way of advantages thereof your veneration shall thrive O Ahura!

When man will overcome by the practice of Righteousness, the evil in him on attaining the highest stage, when that which is spoken of as delusion becomes revealed, for all times, both to the wicked and to upright men, then shall praises for Thee, O Ahura, multiply through Bounties.

When a righteous man conquers falsehood by truth due to selfless actions, when he attains what have been declared to be delusions for all time by the Daevas and their men; then shall love for You, O Ahura increase and bring him blessings.

Before these my struggles overwhelm me, tell me that which Thou knowest, O Ahura. What shall the Follower of Asha not conquer the Follower of the Druj? This indeed is looked upon as the crowning achievement of the spiritual life.

Tell me the things which Thou knowest, Lord, before the end of the course shall come for me. Will the just man, O Mazda, conquer the wicked one? For that is known as the good form of existence.

Tell me, since Thou knowest Ahura, what will become of me hereafter, what will henceforth come to me. When Mazda, will the virtuous overpower the vicious and by all that is good in his life, he will attain the Salvation?

O Wise Ahura, before all the forces caused by my sins which are repentable, come to meet me, tell me that which would help me repent. O Mazda, a Holy person who attracts and wins over an evil person, then he would truly be called a farmer of goodness during his lifetime due to his good deeds.
