Objective: Create a tri-fold brochure about yourself. Be consistent in your layout throughout your brochure.
q Fold the next sheet of paper like a tri-fold brochure and sketch out your ideas using the following guideline.
Panel 1: Create a title and discuss your family and your friends. Add appropriate clipart or a picture of your family.
Panel 2: Create a title and discuss a favorite vacation, school activities and/or hobbies. Add appropriate clipart and/or pictures of friends/hobbies.
Panel 3: Include some sort of bulleted list—just make sure that it goes along with your other panels.
Panel 4: Put a quote here that describes you or something that is meaningful to you like a poem, etc. Be sure to add appropriate clipart and cite the author.
Panel 5: Add the words Computer Class, Tri/Year, your teacher’s name, and a small graphic logo at the bottom in a small appropriate font.
Panel 6: Needs to include your name, your picture, and a border around your picture.
q Your font size may be no larger than 18 on the entire brochure except for the front cover.
q Make sure to include all of the required formatting (listed on page 2)
q You will print the final copy as a PDF. Your grade will be deducted ten (10) points for failing to print out correctly.
q Your teacher will deduct five (5) points for each misspelled word and deduct two (2) points for each grammatical/punctuation mistake. Be SURE to use spell check!
q Turn in your rough draft (written out long hand) that is stapled to this grade sheet. Deduction of ten (10) points if draft is not turned in.

1. Choose your ideas and create a six panel informational brochure about yourself.
2. You will need a minimum of six pictures/clipart.
3.. You will need to choose colors and patterns that complement each other and look professional. You will also need to choose appropriate fonts and styles for this type of publication.
4. You will need to include drop caps, italics, bolding und underlining in at least four different places.
5. You must include a bulleted list.
6. You will need to include a “quote” for one of the panels.
7. Use justified alignment for body text.
8. Use center-alignment in your title design.
9. Make sure your name is on the brochure.
10. Find pictures on the Internet, draw a sketch, take an ipad selfie, and/or email photos to yourself, then use them in your brochure.
11. Clip your completed brochure, sketch and printout of text to this paper.
