NEEDLE FELTED Mice - French Mice, Celebrity Mice and Steampunk MICE!
On this page you will find a few additions to the menagerie... some precious little needle felted French and steampunk flying mice and some star quality celebrity tribute mice (Charlie Sheen, John Campbell, Miss America 1951 and more!)! They are all original and hand made by Cindy Walker from high quality, clean, all natural wool roving with wire frame armatures and accouterments to suit their individual personalities.

Adolphus Mus Volens
An Amazing Needlefelted Steampunk Flying Mouse!
Professor Adolphus Mus Volens is a distinguished and noted mouse scientist and expert in the field of aeronautics. He is the nephew of Dr. Otto Mus Volans who after several less than successful attempts, achieved what simpler mice only dream of.... flight! Following in his uncle's last flight to parts unknown from which, sadly, he never returned, Adolphus began pouring over his uncle's notes and following in the lofty footsteps of the great Professor Otto Mus Volens, he continues the research. Now he has redeveloped a new pattern of articulated gliding wings with which allow him to soar over the ever watchful cat unnoticed on reconnaissance missions to retrieve cheese and other tasty goodies from the highest shelves.
White Water Willy the River Running MouseWilly is a whitewater canoeing Mouse from the Blue Ridge Mountains... He's an adventurer at heart and he loves a challenge. He has rafted and canoed all the great rivers from the Yellowstone and Shoshone to the Salmon and Colorado and of course the local Ocoee/Toccoa river near his home.
He is needle felted by hand from all natural high grade clean wool roving over a hand formed wire armature and stands at 3.75" tall. . His whiskers are made from real horse tail hair and his eyes are acrylic with pupils. His helmet, hands and feet and nose are made by hand from fimo poly-clay, and he has a little life vest made from fabric. The paddle and canoe are made from painted/stained wood (I did not make these) This little mouse will be carefully packed for shipping and would make a great addition to your doll and bear collection or needle felting collection as well as a unique addition to a mouse Collection! Francois Fermier (farmer) MouseFrancois is a proud French farm mouse sporting a jaunty straw hat and a smart blue scarf. He has worked hard and is leaning on his shovel taking a break. He has had a good crop this season and has gathered a cabbage, some carrots and some corn in a basket for his dinner. He is a completely hand crafted original OOAK work of art created by Cindy Walker and stands at 3.75" tall and is needle felted by hand from all natural high grade clean wool roving over a hand formed wire armature. His whiskers are made from real horse tail hair and his eyes are acrylic with pupils!! Francois will come to you leaning on his shovel (non removable) with his bountiful basket of vegetables (also completely hand crafted by me, from Fimo poly-clay) in a real basket (not made by me). This little mouse will be carefully packed for shipping and would make a great addition to your doll and bear collection or needle felting collection as well as a unique addition to a mouse Collection! Jean-Claude Mousie is a fearless French Alpine skier mouse sporting a warm red scarf, mittens and headband. He has real wood skis with leather bindings and ski poles. He was named after his idol Jean-Claude Killy the great French skier who was a 3 time Olympic champion!
He is a completely hand crafted original OOAK work of art created by Cindy Walker. He stands proudly at 3.25" tall and is almost 6" long from the front tip of his skis to the tip of his tail. He is needle felted by hand from all natural high grade clean wool roving over a hand formed wire armature. His whiskers are made from real horse tail hair and his eyes are acrylic with pupils!!
