Here's how custom ordering works...

1. BUY COLLAR - You need to find and buy a collar for your dog that you like - make sure that it fits your dog properly - (I don't supply the actual dog collars, as people usually want different styles, sizes and quality collars.)**

**NOTE: Collars must be the old fashioned buckle type collars (leather or nylon) for the beading to lie flat on them. The new style adjustable collars will not work because of the plastic adjustment buckle that slides up and down on the collar. As you can see from the pictures the beading must fit between the buckle and the first hole on the collar and cannot be wider than the collar itself.

2. MEASURE -Lay the collar flat and Measure the width and length of the section of collar you want the beading applied to

3. DESIGN - I will design several sample patterns in any style or colors you desire (I can even work in your dog's name if you want.)

4. PRICE - Once we have agreed on a design that fits on your collar I will quote you a total price (including USPS shipping with insurance)*

*Cost depends on the amount of beading required and if I need to order any special beads or other extra $ items like crystals or conchos, but for a basic starting estimate it would be about $12 for each inch of beading on a standard 3/4" - 1" nylon collar. Add 20% to the total for leather collars as they are MUCH more labor intensive.Very wide or narrow collars will be more or less... ask me if there is a question.

5. MAIL COLLAR TO ME WITH DEPOSIT - send the collar to me along with a 50% deposit (or the total if you prefer-see payment options below).

6. BEADING - I will double check all measurements, buy appropriate beads, make the bead-work and apply it securely to your collar and send you pictures through e-mail for approval (all beading will be loom worked on strong nylon thread and then glued carefully with an appropriate type of glue and then also sewn on by hand with super strong nylon thread) Production time is usually 2-4 weeks depending on my schedule and the amount of beading required - beading is VERY labour intensive.

7. Payment and shipping - pay the balance due and will I ship your collar the day your personal check clears my bank. (If paid with a USPS money order I will ship as soon as full payment is received.)
