Rain Harvesting

Resource from heaven

Recovery and recycling of rainwater has a direct contribution to solve the problems of waste, scarcity and rising cost of water supply.

In the private sector about 50% of the daily requirement of water may be replaced with rainwater.

– Cleaning and laundry,

– Garden Watering

– Swimming pool make up

– Toilet flushing

Other advantages are:

– It’s free;

– It has a no hardness :

– No deposits in pipes and heating elements of washing machines (washing machine, dishwasher) and saving on electricity consumption;

– Saving of detergent (up to 50%)

With attention and some treatments, rainwater is also a good source of potable water

In tropical Area harvesting also avoid garden floods reducing mosquitos, frogs and snakes eating frog development.

This is example of rain recovery calculation.

Anyone can put a downspout into the top of a cistern and call it a rainwater collection system. We believe a rainwater collection system is defined by the details. We provide systems that are designed with function, maintenance, and aesthetics in mind. Rainwater collection systems should not be eyesores.

Collection Plant storage and disposal of rainwater

Important parameters for plant design are:

  • Amount of surface to collect rainwater
  • Surface runoff coefficient;
  • rainfall (obtainable from specialist publications);
  • System sizing

A collection and run-off rainwater system is basically composed by 5 subsystems:

  • Collection
  • Pretreatment
  • Storage& Treatment
  • Overflow dispersion
  • Distribution
