THREE PROJECTS:
Write an article on Variable Window Size Kernel Density estimators. Use my lecture on this topic. Develop the EXCEL procedures to do this. This should be written as a pedagogical article, meant to explain to students, and to show how to display these estimators. This is especially useful because variable window size kernels are NOT available in standard software packages. The article can be targeted for submission to: Journal of Economic Education (impact factor, W category) or Journal of Statistics Education.
Something like the above would become the first chapter of a planned textbook on Bayesian Econometrics.
An article on getting the desired results via integration and co-integration tests could be published to show that current procedures are deeply flawed and to suggest alternative methodologies to achieve better inferential results. Use WDI data and evaluate PPP, show that any result can be obtained. Compare with literature. Find a viable alternative. Use new Monte Carlo Methodology
