Outdoor Adventures is a fictional retail operation in downtown Minocqua, WI. The company has been in business since March of 2008. Marv Waldorfson is the owner of Outdoor Adventures. His wife Hildy also works there part-time. Outdoor Adventures specializes in outdoor adventure clothing and gear for skiers & snowboarders, hikers, bikers, snowshoers, and the general outdoor enthusiast or treehugger. Marv has always planned to also offer guided trips to explore the backwoods of Wisconsin. These guided trips would include Hiking, Mountain Biking, XC Skiing, and Snowshoeing. Up till now, it has been a family operation, but with the good winter weather and the sluggish economy forcing people to vacation closer to home, he has seen his business grow as Sconnies, and a number of Illinois vacationers travel to the Wisconsin north woods. Like many small business owners, entrepreneurship means long hours, doing everything yourself and pouring everything into the business until it is established. He does everything from retail sales, customer service, ordering, display, promotions, billing and accounting and even cleaning. Well, his time has come and he has decided to add an official employee...and you are that employee!
