Activity: You will use the Google Spreadsheet Functions to create your own spreadsheets using the GoogleFunction. All Google Spreadsheet functions are listed here.
Below are the directions:
Create a new Google Spreadsheet. Title the spreadsheet [YourName] Google Functions.
The spreadsheet will have three sheets titled Case, Concatenate, Stock Quotes, and VLookup (respectively). Format to your discretion. An example created by Mr. Wismer is linked for reference.
Complete the sheets as follows:
Case: Use the Upper and Lower function to modify text.
Concatenate: Use the Concatenate function to the values of two individual cells into a new combined cell.
Stock Quotes: Use the Google Finance function to look up the current stock price of five stocks of your choice. List the company, the ticker and use the function to list the current price.
VLookup: Use the VLookup function to locate the correct commission rate.
Turn in the completed spreadsheet to your teacher.
Nice work. You have completed section 4 on Google Sheets.
