INSA Summer Research Fellowship in India

If you’ve been in search of a collaboration for a research project as an Indian student or teacher, here it is! The three National Academies of Science is pleased to announce its two-month INSA Summer Research fellowships 2020. This Indian Academies of Science Internship will allow Indian students and teachers to collaborate with the scientists/academics of the three academies in 2020.

The purpose of the INSA Summer Fellowship is to enable candidates to pursue an independent career in university research. It can also be seen as the young scientist award, India.

Level/Field of Study

This Indian National Science Academy Internship is open to students for any of the programmes listed below:

    • BS / BSc / BVSc / BPharm (only II and III)

    • BE / BTech / BCA / BArch (only years II and III)

    • MS / MSc / MVSc / MPharm (only 1 year)

    • ME / MTech / MCA / MArch (only 1 year)

    • (5 years integrated) MS / MSc / MTech / MBBS (only II, III, IV)

    • PharmD (only III, IV years)

    • (Double degree) BTech + MTech (only II / III, IV)

    • (Double degree) BE + MSc (only II, III, IV)

    • (Dual degree) BS + MS (only II, III, IV)

    • Integrated doctorate (only I, II years)

    • MSc Tech (only I, II years)

Subjects covered include sciences, technology, Pharmacy, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and so on.

It is also open to teachers in the programmes listed above in a college/university.

Host Nationality

The Indian National Institute of Science (INSA) was established with the aim of promoting science in India and using scientific knowledge for the cause of humanity and for the good of the nation.

Eligible Nationality

The Indian Academy of Sciences Summer Internship is open to only students and teachers of science in India.
