Wharton

Here is a picture of the students in my year during our first year:

Wharton Economics: Andrew Johnston Cohort

From left to right:

  • Eric Moore is interested in financial economics especially financial regulation. Like me, he's from out West.

  • Andrew Johnston (me) is interested in the economics of education and public economics generally.

  • Ana Gazmuri is from Chile and her back ground is as an engineer. She's interested in social insurance and the economics of education.

  • Boris Vabson immigrated to the United States from the Soviet Union as a small boy. He's going to be the worlds greatest health economist.

  • Cinthia Konichi is from Brazil and is interested in political economy and industrial organization so she can help reform her home country's corruption: She is the kindest economist you'll find.

  • Andy Wu is a hybrid economist-business man from MIT and is interested in the economics of innovation.
