A major feature of creating three letters from different perspectives was rhetoric, which was necessary for each letter to achieve its ultimate goal of finding a solution to an unsatisfactory service. In order for the rhetoric, or persuasive aspect of the piece to be strong, the written text needs to be effective and compelling. One of the most challenging parts of this was considering the piece from the audience's perspective. Something you write yourself may sound completely convincing, but can be taken by an audience with a different perspective in a completely different way. One way I overcome this challenge was given by completing the project itself, which required me to consider many perspectives in my writing, Beyond that I took extra care to consider how someone else may take what I was writing, and try to incorporate more neutral diction and syntax which still gets my point across without being to aggressive or provocative. To incorporate multimodality I utilized different fonts, colors, and text sizes to emphasize and contrast certain aspects of my writing. I also included quotes as a different level of writing which supported my claims in the main body text. This project has enhanced my written communication by allowing me to develop different writing styles byond my own to suit a variety of roles.
