Description
The Asian Liver Center at Stanford University is the first non-profit organization in the United States that addresses the high prevalence of hepatitis B and liver cancer in Asians and Asian Americans. Founded in 1996, the Asian Liver Center uses a four-pronged approach towards fighting hepatitis B through CARE: collaboration, advocacy, research, and education/outreach.
We are looking for a passionate individual to provide 1) linguistically and culturally appropriate information for pregnant women and hepatitis B infected pregnant women to protect their newborns and themselves from hepatitis B, 2) resources for healthcare providers to prevent mother to child transmission of hepatitis B, and medical management of women with chronic hepatitis infection, and 3) current hepatitis B immunization coverage by state and country.

Must have completed at least one full academic year of an undergraduate program
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Good judgment and interpersonal skills
Creative and extremely self-motivated
Sees the big picture as well as details necessary to make the vision a reality
Highly-organized
Passionate
