Can interns work from home?
To support team projects/bonding within the cohort, we prefer interns to work on-site. However, this will be dependent upon the position.
What are the internship hours?
Summer: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday during core business hours (9am-5:30pm)
Academic Year: Between 12-20 hours/week, Monday-Friday during core business hours (9am-5:30pm).
We are flexible with your school schedules.
Is this a paid internship?
This is not a paid opportunity. However, interns will be eligible to receive a performance-based monetary award at the conclusion of the internship up to $2,500 or $3,000.
I am an international student. May I still apply?
Yes, you are welcome to apply. However, we are only able to award stipends to those with a green card or who are a U.S. citizen.
Is housing provided?
No. We are unable to provide housing.
Do I need a car?
Some positions require driving. This will be noted in the description or interview.
Is the Asian Liver Center accessible by public transportation?
Yes. Our office is within biking distance of the Stanford campus and can be reached via the free Marguerite Shuttle.
I am in high school, may I apply?
High schoolers are eligible to apply for the JoinJade Youth Ambassadors program and volunteer opportunities

Is this a college internship? How about graduate level?
Yes. This is an internship for undergraduate college students, and graduate students. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply (if within one year from graduation date).
Can I apply to more than one internship?
Yes. However, we encourage you to apply to roles that you feel most passionate about.
