A cadet who applies for an ROTC college scholarship will have the following application information examined by an ROTC Scholarship Selection Board early in their senior year: A. WHO TO ASK

l . During your time in Air Force JROTC you will have various questions about Aerospace Science , JROTC extracurricular programs, or even about Tuscola High School. The information presented here provides a minimum list of the people to contact if you have questions or you need help regarding your high school experience.

2. Whenever possible, each flight may have at least one AS-IV assigned who was selected as a JROTC Honor Student because of his/her maturity and knowledge . Your AS-IV(s) will be able to answer most questions you have about JROTC programs, uniforms, activities, or curriculum . Additionally, your AS-IV(s) are responsible for mentoring your flight by setting the example. If you follow their example, ask them questions and seek their advice, you will be a big step closer to success in JROTC. Additionally, your AS-IV(s) can help you succeed in high school academics by personally tutoring you or by finding another upper class cadet to tutor you in any subject taught at Tuscola High School. This tutoring program is voluntary but you have to take the first step and ask for help .

3. Your JROTC instructors are also always here to help. In addition to teaching class, supervising extra-curricular activities, and giving extra academic help after school, your instructors oversee the planning and administer every JROTC-sponsored activity. With the variety of activities, each instructor has primary responsibility for specific functions . If you .... have a question or need help in an area below, ask your instructor.

4. The activities listed above are only a few of the areas in which you may have questions or need advice. For other areas; ask your AS-IV or any of your instructors. We are all here to help make you a successful JROTC student.
