UCLA Library Databases and Journals
UCLA subscribes to many databases and journals, and as students, we can access all of those resources. Follow the steps below to access UCLA's subscriptions.
Using a desktop computer on campus: you do not need to be logged in to VPN
Accessing the resources from anywhere else: sign in to VPN. If you don't have VPN installed on your computer, download it here.
- The UCLA Library Databases include all UCLA subscribed resources, engineering and non-engineering (some recommended resources: Wiley and Knovel).
- The Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Guide is a starting point for locating many chemical engineering resources (suggested resources: "Properties Data", especially Perry's Chemical Engineers' Handbook, which you may download to your computer and is a widely used resource in chemical engineering).
