Adding jobs to the job board
The date the job was posted/added is important. Everything else aside from the links is up to your discretion to include.

Running Dinners with Bill Beard
Determining time and date
Bill Beard comes into his office two days a week, and he adjusts his schedule to coincide with AIChE industry events. He's here from 1-10pm, so go to his office hours to see when he's available for a dinner. You can email him to give him a heads-up, but he's swamped with emails, so office hours are faster. Once you have a date (time is generally 6-8pm), cross-reference against AIChE calendar at officer meetings.
Determining location
The chemical engineering conference rooms are nice.
Contact IVP for room reservations.
If push comes to shove, the chemical engineering department office can work too.
Taking RSVPs
Cap is usually set at 10 people. This allows an error of plus or minus 2 people which is usually within a room's capacity. Minus 2 for people who don't show up; plus 2 for people who drop in.
Purchasing food
See example of purchase form attached.
Contact treasurer to confirm budget.
Confirm prices with restaurant and email to Sara in the chemical engineering department office, reubelt@ea.ucla.edu.
Provide a cell phone number you can be reached at in case delivery goes less than smooth.
