Test manipulative dexterity of right & left hand, individually & simultaneously.
Measures dexterity in activities involving gross movements of fingers hand & arm; also measures efficiency in activities involving primarily "tip of the finger" dexterity.
Specialized test requires using tweezers to place pins in holes requires precision, steadiness, and a high degree of eye-hand coordination.

Ø Laminated board has 100 holes to place in pegs & covered recess to store parts.

PURDUE PEGBOARD
The pegboard has been used extensively to measure dexterity for 2 types of activity:
1) Gross movements of hands, fingers and arms
2) Fingertip dexterity
Complete with pins, collars and washers and examiner’s manual with norms.
LAFAYETTE PEGBOARD
Designed to measure a timed unilateral motor response.
Subject places 25 pegs in round holes as quickly as possible across the rows. Scores should improve with successive trials.
GROOVED PEGBOARD
A manipulative dexterity test consisting of 25 holes with randomly positioned slots. Pegs with a “key” along one side must be rotated to match hole before they can be inserted.
Requires more complex visual-motor coordination than most pegboards.
O'CONNOR FINGER DEXTERITY TEST
The finger test requires hand placement of three pins per hole. It has been successfully used as a predictor for skills involving rapid manipulation of small objects.
A high score indicates a manual aptitude for work involving precision. Board has 100 holes. Test examiner manual included.
MINNESOTA MANUAL DEXTERITY TEST
Manual dexterity test measures capability for simple but rapid eye-hand-finger movement.
Comes complete with carrying case, record blanks and norms.
The subject must place correct key in appropriate socket.
