“I started out in New Brunswick and moved across the country, having a baby girl
in each province that Rev. Dr. Richard Hovey and I have lived in. A pastor’s wife for most of my married life has provided me with a few interesting stories to tell. Teaching young children about Jesus is my passion. Being a stay-at-home mom has been a blessing that has provided me the time to volunteer in several children’s ministries and run a full-time day-home.
“Presently, I am beginning an internship in the children’s program at First Baptist Church Regina, a requirement for the Christian Ministry Degree from Briercrest. I also currently work at the Pilgrim Inn in Caronport and have found unexpected opportunities to share my faith with many of the guests.”
