Our guest speaker is Rev. Dr. Mark McKim


Topic: Dr. McKim will be talking about his life, work and ministry since leaving Regina.


The Rev. Dr. Mark G. McKim was the senior minister of FBC Regina from 2005-2017. Educated at the University of New Brunswick, Acadia University, and Boston University, he has published three books as well as dozens of journal articles and reviews. He has taught in Canada, the United States and Asia.

Some of the major accomplishments during his tenure at FBC included: a renewed emphasis on expository and doctrinal preaching, planting a daughter church (First Karen Baptist) made up of refugees from Burma, and establishing a strong working relationship with Youth for Christ, among other accomplishments. During his years in Regina, Dr. McKim was also frequently sought out by the media for comment, from a Christian perspective, on issues of the day.
