Light: Noor نُورُ

The Arabic word 'Noor' means 'light'. There are two meanings, spiritual and physical light. The word 'Noor' appears in the Glorious Qur'an in Chapter 24 [Surah Al-Noor] as well as has been used in 43 verses with different meanings. Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'Ala) says in (24:1 & 46), "This Surah We have sent down, and which We have ordained; and We have sent down therein clear signs, that you may take heed." "Indeed We have sent down signs explanatory; and Allah guides whosoever He will unto the right way."
