The first House constructed on earth for the purpose of worshipping Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'Ala) is the Ka’bah, called the Grand Mosque, or the Masjid AlHaram ‘Haram AlSharef’. The Mosque surrounds the Ka’bah, the holiest and most blessed structure on the face of the earth. Although, the Ka'bah is called the House of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala), it is also called the house of people. The Ka’bah it is believed to be the first monument rected as a symbol to a monotheistic deity and is the holiest of shrines for Islam.
