Michael Shepherd

Michael Shepherd is a Fayette artist who recognized his ability and love of art at an early age. He was drawing and painting as a toddler, around the time that he was diagnosed with autism. He never let his autism get him down, however, and attended The Alabama School of Fine Arts in Birmingham and graduated from The University of Montevallo, majoring in art.

Michael loves painting in many mediums and styles and also enjoys creating logos, having developed logos for several local businesses. He balances his time between painting and collecting old, original gasoline signs and automotive memorabilia. Michael is also interested in cartooning, currently working on an original comic book.

Michael is an active Sipsey Arts Alliance member.
