AnnaLeigh Richards

Anna Leigh Richards, a watercolor artist, graphic designer, and resident of Birmingham, Alabama, is known for her colorful paintings and splashes of metallic sparkle which pay homage to the inspiring women in her family. Anna Leigh, a native of Fayette, Alabama, accredits her own mother,(also an artist), Debbie Richards, with introducing her daughter to painting. Anna Leigh’s interest was reinforced and refined by her first art instructor Patsy Wilson, her first formal art instructor.

Anna Leigh completes high school and continued her studies at Mississippi State University where she earned addition degrees in graphic design and marketing. She leaned toward watercolor paints because of their vibrant colors and fluidity.

Anna Leigh is currently employed as an in-house graphic designer for Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.
