Paratext 9 User Training

The Paratext 9 User Training online course has been developed for those who want to understand and be able to use the wide array of functionality offered by this software. The course consists of multiple sections, covering information such as: navigating around Paratext, understanding the different views, understanding and using keyboard shortcuts, using the checking tools, understanding the collaboration tools, etc. Most sections contain multiple modules, and each module consists of at least one Paratext 9 help video, followed by skill and knowledge checks. Part One of the Paratext 9 User Training online course includes 38 short (5-15 minutes each) and practical modules cover the topics listed below. These modules are aimed at people starting or in the middle of the translation process. Cost: $20 for SIL staff, $40 for partner staff, and $100 for the general public.

• USFMs and Views – 9 modules

Part Two includes 51 modules on the topics below. These modules are aimed at those preparing for translation checks and publication. Cost: $25 for SIL staff, $50 for partner staff, and $125 for the general public.
