Thursday 8 April (18:00 Bangkok time) - join the group video online call on Zoom using this link.
Topic: Participatory Community Engagement
In preparation for the call, consider what you have learnt from the last month of the training. It might be from the online call, or from your team work on the grant proposal, or perhaps from your review of your peer team's grant proposal section. Note down your reflections and bring them to the online call.
Click to access the video presentation used during the synchronous zoom call, and the presentation slides.

For April you have two tasks to work on as a team:
Take 30min as a team to review the funders expectations for community engagement shared during the synchronous call. Which of these do you think you have met and which might you need to give some more time for as you further develop your proposal? Make a note of these and think about how you could incorporate them in your concept note in your STAKEHOLDERS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT section.
Work together as a team to develop Section #4 - 'STAKEHOLDERS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT' - of your grant proposal. Click here to find your group folder, within which there is a google document set up for your team (note: you must be signed into the google account you provided when registering for the training to access the folder and file). Please make sure this section is completed by Saturday 17 April.
As a team, review the 'STAKEHOLDERS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT' section of your assigned peer team's grant proposal. Click here, navigate to your group folder, and then find your peer team's google document. As you read it through, highlight:
3 things you like about what they have written,
3 areas where you think they could strengthen/improve what they have written,
any questions you have about what is written.
To do this in google docs, highlight the text and then click on the 'text bubble' to the right of the page to add your comment.
Make sure this is completed by Saturday 24 April.
Watch this short video, reviewing some of the key aspects of this month’s topic. Then, as a team, review the comments received from your assigned peer team and spend some time revising your proposal based on the suggestions and questions raised.
Finally, to consolidate your learning this month, take some time to discuss the following two questions as a team:
What are your 3 key learning points from this month?
What one thing are you going to do now to grow/establish your capacity in this area?
