Child Care Essential Workers

Necessary frontline workers using a regulated child care provider can now receive emergency scholarships through the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (the "CARES Act"). The Child Care Councils of Nassau and Suffolk will be administering this program on Long Island. It was developed through the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) and Governor Cuomo. Online applications are available in English and Spanish.
