It's ready for paint, I am shopping around for someone who can do a good job at a reasonable price. After paint then I can start putting it all together.
Ready for painting. tail lights, side marker lights fitted. There will be a small rubber gasket between the fender and body.
Originally designed for trucks, but ideal because they incorporate brake, turn, runniing, and backup lights in one unit. I was able to bend the frame to fit the curve of the fender
Rear boot area is covered with a .125" aluminum panel that is fastened in place with 1/4 turn fasteners.
Side marker lights are from a 2004 Mini. I frenched the lights into the fenders. This is the mold fastened in place.
Mold was screwed and riveted in the cutout.
Fiberglassed in.
(Mostly) finished fender with molded cutouts for side marker lights
foamboard template for windshield.. it still has to be cut to size
Finished template for 6mm thick windshield. It will be held in the frame with automotive window gasket. Also mounted the windshield washer nozzles.
Black oxide finish on suspension components and other brackets.
Room temperature black oxide process, I'm very pleased with how this worked out.
Bullet mirrors mounted.
