trial fitting fenders and nose - I bought these from someone who had made the molds for their own project. They are copies of original caterham parts.
The stock 4AGE throttle body. It's not going to fit under the hood!
Fuel cell trial fit. Will have to have a section cut out and welded back in to clear rear differential and panhard rod.
wiring harness from the donor car. I'm going to use an aftermarket harness and fuse box, but I will have to salvage some connectors to the ECU and sensors.
I found a drag racing radiator that just fit under the front cowl.
Radiator mounted.
Steering linkage. I'll have to fit a collapsable section to comply with Alberta requirements.
brake, clutch from wilwood. gas pedal from Joes.
Below, I willhave to fabricate an exhaust system to mate up with the oem exhaust manifold. I won't do a custom exhaust manifold as the OEM cast one is supposed to be excellent. I may have to modify the frame to fit the exhaust pipes. Also not the wilwood clutch and brake master cylinders.
Font suspension. I will replace the A-arms that I fabricated with off the shelf racing items made from Chrome moly steel - probably much stronger.
These retractable 3 point seat belts, alas, are not DOT compliant, so for the inspection I will have to fit some Canadian DOT compliant shoulder and lap belts.
