Is Your Chromebook Displaying and/or Typing in Language Other Than English?
Click in the Options section (right bottom corner of the home screen by the clock).
2. Select ‘Settings’.
a. If you can’t click on the gear there. Go to the circle in the bottom left corner. Click on it. Select ‘Settings’.
3. Choose ‘System preferences’ & then choose ‘Languages’.
4. Verify that the ‘Device language’ is English if it is not choose ‘Change’.
5. Find & choose ‘English (United States)’.
6. Click on ‘Confirm and restart’.
