Assessment Methods

Assessments may take a number of forms, for example: essays, tests, exams, presentations, and group work. Assessment contributes to the overall grade for each module. The date and time of submission (the assessment deadline) and the length of the assessment will be stated on the module page on Blackboard under 'Details and Submissions'.

Assessments can take place throughout the semester. Students who have failed a first sitting or been unable to submit assessment due to extenuating circumstances will be reassessed during the August assessment period. Please bear this in mind when making plans for your summer vacation.
