When it comes to RICs pathways, you've got a few options to consider depending on what you want to do.
A good place to start would be to check out the RICs pathways page for more information on the specific competencies needed for each sector! Just make sure to read everything carefully because some pathways require a different RICs accreditation that we don't offer at UoS.
There's also a page called "How to become a surveyor" which talks about surveying as a career, and the different ways you can enter the profession.
If you have any more questions about career options, don't hesitate to reach out to us at or get in touch to set up an in-person chat.
