How we can help: 

Employability & Placement Hubs - including Cornerstone

Students can drop in to any of the 4 Employability and Placement Hubs across Campus. 

Hubs: Cornerstone (The Wave), Jessop West, Mapping, SU. 

Support on offer: 

• One stop shop for anything employability related 

• Support with accessing and hearing about employability opportunities 

• First glance CV and application feedback 

• Job and placement information

• Providing lived experiences from placement years 

• Training has been provided to ensure staff are familiar with industry differences that are relevant to GPL students 

Open Monday-Friday 11am-3pm term time (SU Hub 10am-4.30pm) No appointment needed.

Placement Year Support 

• 1:1 support: Placement appointments are available to book every week with the Social Sciences Placements Officer, Tracy Horton. Use this Career Connect link to book
