PROMPT

The Progress Monitoring for PGR Timelines (PROMPT) system allows you and your supervisors to track and monitor the various upcoming milestones that you will need to complete. PROMPT will send automatic email reminders when a milestone deadline is close. Please spend some time exploring your PROMPT account.

PROMPT can be accessed here. Use your University of Sheffield login details to gain access. 

You are allocated a PROMPT account once your university registration is complete. If you have registered, but do not know how to log in to PROMPT, follow the advice provided in the Induction Booklet located in this handbook. If you continue to experience difficulties or you have questions about the milestones on your PROMPT account, please contact the PGR Student Support Officer by emailing: eee-pgradmin@sheffield.ac.uk

Your supervisor also has a responsibility to make sure that they are discussing and signing off your prompt submissions after you have completed them. This should mean that you are clear on your progress and where you are in your studies.

If a submission has been waiting for feedback for a significant amount of time please do chase this with your supervisor.
