EEE PGR Handbook
The current Postgraduate Research Tutor role is shared between Dr Thomas Walther (please note that Dr Walther is responsible for students in year 1 & 2 and is located in Room G102 in the Mappin Building) and Prof Stephen Matcher (please note that Prof Matcher is responsible for students in years 3 & 4 and is located in Room S08 in the Kroto Building) and administrative assistance is provided by a support team (email eee-pgradmin@sheffield.ac.uk ) located in room E122b, Mappin Building. The Postgraduate Research Admissions Tutor is Dr Jon Willmott (located in Room B08 in the Portobello Centre).
The following 3 students were elected in November 2020 to serve as EEE student reps in the student-staff committee for 2021: Abdoalateef (Abdul) Ali M Alzrhani (Email: aamalzhrani1@sheffield.ac.uk), Yinka Leo Ogundiran (Email: ylogundiran1@sheffield.ac.uk) and Jin Xiao (Email: xjin4@sheffield.ac.uk)
Paige Baldwin (pebaldwin1@sheffield.ac.uk) has agreed to act as rep for female PGR students in EEE for 2021-22.
New Postgraduate Students will need to follow the Arrival Checklist.
