Race Equality and Consent Conversations

This handbook is designed to follow the Race Equality Conversations delivered by Student Experience Diversity and Inclusions (SEDI). It includes information on racism in our society, advice on how to challenge racism, and details of support available to students.

Access the Race Equality Handbook here.

The consent handbook contains key information from the consent conversations, as well as resources for further learning. We also include practical safety tips and more in depth information about support available - both through the university and external services.

Access the Consent Handbook here.

There are a lot of support services out there and if you are feeling overwhelmed or unsure about which would be the best option for you then a good place to start would be emailing support@sheffield.ac.uk. The Student Welfare and Wellbeing (SWW) team will be able to suggest the most relevant services.

If you have any questions regarding the content of these handbooks then please contact SEDI via email at sedi@sheffield.ac.uk.
